Steps of Hope

Autism can be isolating. But it doesn’t have to be. We are a local organization of family members, professionals and individuals with autism spectrum disorder. Together, we work to understand the challenges of autism, support one another and help in the search for effective interventions. Our goal is to remove barriers that limit opportunities for individuals on the spectrum. But we can’t do this alone. Who is AuSM? Established in 1971, the Autism Society of Minnesota (AuSM) is a network that serves families throughout the region. Our mission is to meet the educational, emotional and social needs of individuals on the autism spectrum, their families and the professionals who serve them. AuSM is a 501(c)3 organization. All donations are tax deductible. Steps of Hope Supports People in Your Community Your generosity is put to good work. In addition to the services provided by AuSM, we distribute grants to help individuals, centers, group homes and schools. Steps of Hope Support Grants are used for projects that directly benefit children and adults with ASD.
